It was yet another successful conference as we head to our 2nd Annual Partnership Meeting in Shanghai, China with global air cargo forwarders joined our 4-day networking event. Another milestone for GAA with more new members attending the conference, we can conclude that this year's event was a success!
We broke the ice in Shanghai as we started this event with our Welcome Cocktail Reception which helped our attendees meet each other.
Global Aircargo Alliance's 2nd Annual Partnership Meeting officially opened last October 16, 2019, with our traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony lead by Directors Christian Raeuber and Nils Walle with the following sponsors: Calenberg Oversea Logistics GmbH & Co. KG, Shanghai Windows Logistics Co., Ltd., Venosa Cargo SRL, Eternity Air (M) Sdn Bhd, KRL, TEC Cargo Italia S.R.L, Now365 Logistics,Dixons Cargo Consolidators Pvt. Ltd., and World Link Cargo Services Sdn Bhd.
Afterwards, we had our network management updates lead by Nils Walle and had our keynote speaker, Mark Millar, who discussed Head Winds and Tail Winds for the Airfreight sector. We also had our keynote speech from Roman Orlik from IATA before we headed to our Panel Discussions and Airfreight Business Development Workshop.
In the afternoon, we had our first set of face-to-face meetings on Day 2 -- connecting our delegates with airfreight forwarders worldwide. We also continued our face-to-face meeting sessions on Days 3 and 4.
On Day 3, the delegates were welcomed with a bright and sunny morning as we toured around the City God Temple and Shanghai Old Town.
We can't end the conference just yet, with our 2nd year of network event success, we gave everyone the chance to drink and enjoy with fellow delegates one last time! Everyone enjoyed the Sunset Cocktail as we filled them with cocktails and canapes.
