The Global Aircargo Alliance's 5th Annual Partnership Meeting, held in collaboration with Life Logistics Network, Cold Chain Connect, and AirCargoGroup, was a huge success. Over 270 delegates from around the world attended, exceeding all expectations.
This event wasn't just about making business connections; it was also a celebration of unity and friendship. It left a lasting impression on everyone, creating cherished memories and strong bonds.

We kicked off our #GAAinPhuket Conference with boundless enthusiasm, starting with a thrilling fellowship golf game alongside our esteemed partners—Life Logistics Network, Cold Chain Connect, and AirCargoGroup—on the sunny morning of May 13th.

The energy was electric as swings and drives filled the air. KIM, Hyo-Joong from Cosmo SCM SDN BHD in Malaysia emerged as the champion, showcasing his impressive skills. 

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the delegates who showcased their remarkable abilities on the golf course.

In the afternoon, the conference began with a dynamic opening session. Nils Walle, the Director & Co-Founder of GAA, took the stage to present an overview of the network's advancements and milestones. Following his address, the Newbie Open Mic session allowed new members to introduce themselves and their companies, fostering camaraderie among attendees. Next, the 3-year loyalty awards were presented to the following companies: Roberto Colucci of World Cargo S.R.L. (Italy), Vijay Rajpal and Ravi Navani of Orchid Shipping Pvt. Ltd. (India), Nadia (Narumon Rattanaworrawipha) and Ultra Kosiarpanant of Sonic Interfreight Public Company Limited (Thailand), Daniel Rodriguez of MOLDTRANS SL (Spain), Yelda Calabakul and Sude Sohtaoglu of YSL Uluslararası Nakl. Dıs Tic. A.S (Turkey), and Usman Naseer of Venus Global Logistics Private Limited (Pakistan). Pushkar Mantri of Logi-Sys | Softlink Global (India), our RW Tech Partner, then showcased their companies and services, impressing the audience.
The opening ceremony concluded with a panel discussion featuring Mike Jauregui from Share Logistics (Spain) and Reynir Gislason of International Freight Shipping S.A.C., moderated by Melvin Xavier. The panel explored the theme "Navigating 2024 like a Pro."
The conference began impressively, blending business insights, industry expertise, and networking opportunities for a remarkable event.

Dressed in tropical and beach attire, our delegates gathered at the beachfront of the Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort for an enchanting night of celebration. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as we reunited with esteemed freight partners, rekindling cherished bonds and forging new connections.

At the GAA Annual Partnership Meeting, in addition to our renowned social events, face-to-face meetings are a highlight. GAA Members and friends from LIFE/CCC/ACG seamlessly transitioned from cocktails to conference mode on day two, participating in dynamic meetings. With over 270 freight forwarders from around the globe, the event became a bustling center of connection and discovery, offering abundant opportunities for fruitful collaboration. It was a rewarding and productive day, leaving participants energized by the prospects of growth and promising partnerships ahead.

Day 3 of our conference was a remarkable achievement! We began with an exciting City Tour to the Big Buddha and concluded with a lively Sunset BBQ Awards Night at Mali Lawn, Le Meridien Phuket. Watching our members unwind, dance with joy, and embrace the festivities was a true highlight of the event.

During the evening, we also honored our longstanding freight partners who have been with us for 5 years: Trish Kelly from AWA - American Worldwide Agencies (United States), Toler Wolfe-Coote from TWC Freight (Pty) Ltd. (South Africa), Sara de Sousa & Francisco Cambeiro from Portocargo - Transitarios S.A. (Portugal), Lucan D Silva & Sajith Karippara Pushpangadan from Airlink International (United Arab Emirates), and Billy Bi & Gloria Guo from Qingdao Jerry International Logistics Co., Ltd. (China).

Additionally, we celebrated the winners of our golf tournament: 1st Place - KIM, Hyo-Joong from Cosmo SCM SDN BHD (Malaysia), 2nd Place - Sam Woolridge (Simply Cargo Wholesale Ltd, United Kingdom) from AirCargoGroup, and 3rd Place - Kyung Sik (K.S) Moon from JS International Korea.
