Hello GAA Friends,

After a successful kick-off in Bangkok, we’re heading next to Shanghai for our Global Air Cargo Alliance 2nd Annual Partnership Meeting on October 15 – 18, 2019 in Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai, China. Why Shanghai? Because it is the most important Airfreight market in the world.

By the time we are meeting again in Shanghai, we expect to be at a level of 110HQs which will mean that most of the important airfreight markets will be covered and represented. Connecting you to airfreight forwarders worldwide.

With a complete airfreight community in place now, we can develop the network into new realms, and one of our unique features of the network will be to promote air-air transshipments within the network. For this, we will be more actively and purposefully recruiting members from Air-Air Transshipment hubs and working closely to develop these services to really stand out against competition.

When taking air-air transshipments seriously we can develop services that airlines are not able to by themselves, so if you are a forwarder that is still ‘only’ selling the services of the airlines and now moving into air-air services, the future will hold exciting times. Air-air transshipment providers will hold a special marking in our Global Agency List.

Should you know any airfreight forwarders specialized in air-air in traditional air-air hubs or even unknown but reliable transshipment destinations, please do let us know. We are also seeking speakers from the industry as well as the members to present and discuss this topic more into depth and get the conversation going, so if you want to be part of the panel discussion during our next conference please let us know. Discussions about service development/pricing tariffs can take place to understand how we can make the best use of this opportunity for each other.
